The current SONNO website
The website presents SONNO information and prepares an enquiry message in your browser. The current website does not store stay enquiries in its own database, accept payments or confirm bookings. You choose to open WhatsApp, review the message and send it there.
The message you choose to send may include stay dates, duration, number of guests and the notes you enter. Do not include identity documents, payment details or sensitive information in the notes.
Continuing through WhatsApp
When you open WhatsApp and send a message, the service processes your contact details and message under its own policies. SONNO uses information you send to respond to and follow up on your enquiry. Opening a message alone does not confirm receipt or a booking.
Hosting and maps
The public website is hosted on Netlify. The hosting service processes technical web request data, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver the website and operate its service under its policies.
The embedded Google map loads only when you choose to view it. The relevant service’s policies also apply when you use a map or another external service. We update this page when the website’s actual data use changes.
Optional measurement
We use Google Analytics to understand website visits and interest in contacting SONNO, only after you agree. We do not load the measurement tool or send requests to it before your consent. You can decline or change your choice through “Privacy preferences” in the footer.
After consent, Google receives measurement, technical and session data and may use identifiers and cookies. SONNO’s configured website events measure a page view and clicks on phone or WhatsApp options. We use a fixed page address and title, excluding query details, fragments and referrer information. The contact event does not include a phone number, WhatsApp URL, message text or your notes. A contact click does not confirm a received enquiry or a booking.
The website does not load Google Ads tags. Its measurement configuration denies advertising consent and disables advertising personalization and Google Signals.
Your choice is saved in the current tab’s session storage. It normally ends when the tab closes, although browser session restore may restore it. If storage is blocked, you may be asked again on another page. Google measurement cookies are configured as browser-session cookies; this does not define how long Google retains measurement data.
When you withdraw consent, we disable measurement, remove accessible SONNO measurement cookies in their configured scope and reload the page if the tool was loaded. This may clear details you have not sent yet. Withdrawal does not automatically delete data Google already received.
SONNO Digital
SONNO Digital is being prepared. Its intended content and messaging integrations have not yet been activated. This page does not mean that the app currently accesses your messages or collects customer data through Meta APIs.
The intended use is to help SONNO’s administrators manage content on SONNO’s professional accounts and handle enquiries received by those accounts. Before a specific function is activated, its necessary data scope, permissions, access controls, retention and deletion process will be defined, and this page will be updated to reflect the actual configuration.
Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp also process data under Meta’s and the relevant service’s policies. Creating the app alone does not activate access permissions to accounts or messages.
Reviewing or deleting data
You can contact the SONNO team about information you have sent or request its review or deletion. The data deletion instructions explain the limited information needed to locate a request and the limits relating to external platforms’ data.
